Redhand was a favourite of many Americans for well over a decade, although he originally trained and studied to be an accountant he decided to take up the mantle of being a hero, he is quoted as saying “One day I was just sat on my couch, exhausted and bored out of my mind after spending the day looking at text books, as I flicked through the channels on TV I saw so much hate, fear, misery. From adverts for charities to news reports on criminals and crime and people in need after a disaster. I thought to myself someone had to do something and I came to the realisation that I was someone, I had powers, I could do something. So I decided from that moment on to be a Hero. Well I had to convince my wife at first but she supported me. What matters there is that we love one another. Although it pains me so to think how much worry I cause her and the kids.” He apparently met his wife in kindergarten and married her when he turned 18. He made a name for himself amongst other heroes, media, people he saved and even villains for being a funny man and bringing a smile to the faces of people who were going through the hardest times imaginable. Unfortunately his most prominent moment and the moment he will always be remember for is the Redhand Incident:
On the 8th of June 2012, Victor Wallfree. Stephen Wallfree and Penelope Smith, executed a most atrocious plan, they bombed the home of Redhand, killing his wife of 15 years and 3 children, the youngest a girl of 3, the oldest only a 13 year old boy, the middle child was a boy of 10. The three criminals responsible were quickly caught, arrested and brought to justice. The reason for the bomb was apparently they hated the Redhand, the three had a reputation for being internet trolls, cyberbullying and sending death threats.
About 1 month later the Redhand killed himself, blaming the media for his own demise, his family’s demise and much of the suffering of his life. His body was found on 9th of August 2012. He stopped his own blood-flow with his power.
The Redhand incident led to the calls to reform laws surrounding privacy, media and social media. On the 8th of June 2013 the set of laws collectively known as PXG103-T10 were passed by the UN. These laws protected people’s privacy and sought to tackle Cybercrime, cyber spying and cyberbullying.
